The vertebrae, which protect the nervous system, when misaligned or lose its normal motion cause malfunction of the nerves, affecting tissues and organs throughout the body, including the spine itself.

Chiropractors frequently help individuals with problems, such as headaches, joint pain, neck pain, low back pain and sciatica. Chiropractors also help patients with osteoarthritis, spinal disk conditions, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, sprains, and strains. However, the scope of conditions that chiropractors manage or provide care for is not limited to the common pains and problems listed above. Chiropractors also have the training for a variety of conditions such as allergies, asthma, digestive disorders, and other disorders as new research is developed.

These are a series of interconnected acupuncture points. Each of the 14 channels relate to a different organ or organ system. Qi must flow through the body in these channels without interruption or blockage. A disturbance in the flow of qi can result in illness, pain, or a general lack of health. Stimulation of specific points along the meridians, according to Chinese theory, can correct the flow of qi to restore or optimize health or block pain.
